Daddy in the Sandbox

I wish Mike could add his own pictures to this, but I will have to add the pictures he sends to me. Mike seems to be doing well, he was recently promoted to Staff Sergeant and reenlisted on the fourth of July. He was part of a mass reenlistment ceremony which was overseen by General Patraeus, the ceremony involved more than 1200 troops. A pretty impressive number given their goal was only 500.

Reluctant Blogger

I have avoided blogging until now when I realized that Mike could really benefit from a family blog. Now I can post as many pictures as I want in this site and all the people we care about can see what our family is up to. This blog will be very basic seeing as I am not the most creative person, but it will be like an online photo album with captions. I hope you all enjoy seeing our family grow.
